These are the eight topics Mongolian users discussed most on X between 06:00 and 10:25 on November 3. On Tuesday morning, users shared North Korea's denial of the Binance theft, reports that Mongolia is interested in Czech military aircraft and the date of new peace talks in Abu Dhabi more than anything else. Activity on X was low in the morning, so fewer than ten real topics emerged and engagement figures are lower than in earlier roundups. Metrics were taken at 10:25.

1. North Korea denies role in the $6.3 billion Binance theft (new development)

Earlier roundups covered the FBI's attribution of the $6.3 billion theft from Binance to North Korea's TraderTraitor group. On Tuesday, Kim Yo Jong, a senior North Korean official and the sister of leader Kim Jong Un, dismissed the accusation as "absurd rhetoric" and "a grave political provocation," the BBC and AP reported. After Binance resumed withdrawals, customers took out $4.64 billion on November 1, and the company said it had covered 90% of the stolen assets with its own funds. Mongolian users recalled earlier major cyberattacks linked to North Korea.

2. Mongolia eyes Czech L 410 NG and L-39 Skyfox aircraft

At the Future Forces Forum in Prague on October 21, Mongolia's Defence Ministry and the Czech Omnipol Group signed a memorandum on the planned purchase of one L 410 NG transport aircraft, Zogii.mn and European Defence Review reported. Mongolia agreed to include the purchase in its budget for the last quarter of 2026, though the memorandum is not a final contract. 3. Ukraine–Russia three-way talks set for November 10–11 in Abu Dhabi (new development)

An earlier roundup noted that Volodymyr Zelensky was planning three-way talks in Abu Dhabi. On Monday, US special envoy Steve Witkoff formally announced that the talks will take place in Abu Dhabi on November 10–11 and will cover post-war security arrangements, de-escalation, humanitarian issues and next steps toward peace. 4. 877 children hospitalized with flu in Ulaanbaatar

According to the capital's health department, calls to the city's emergency ambulance centre reached 2,249 as of November 2, up 56.72% from a year earlier. A total of 877 children are being treated in city hospitals, 14.79% more than at the same time last year. From November 7, family health centres will stay open until 20:00 on weekdays and 17:00 at weekends.

5. About 24,000 hectares of birch forest hit by fire in the Nömrög protected area

A preliminary study of the fire in the Nömrög strictly protected area found that about 24,000 hectares of birch forest ecosystem were affected, UBN.mn reported. A team of about 50 scientists, experts and officials reached remote sites by helicopter and finished the field survey ahead of schedule on October 31. Samples and measurements are now being processed, after which a combined assessment of the environmental damage will be issued.

6. Snow and snowstorms forecast for the western provinces

The weather service warned that 0.0–3.5 mm of snow will fall today in most of Zavkhan, and 0.0–2.0 mm in northern Khovd and Govi-Altai, parts of Bayan-Ölgii and Uvs, and western Khövsgöl and Arkhangai, with light snowstorms and colder temperatures. Russian discount retailer Fix Price closed all three of its Mongolian stores by the end of September and has fully left the market, Vedomosti reported, citing the company's third-quarter report; Ikon.mn and Zogii.mn carried the news. 8. Restoration of Dambadarjaa monastery stalled for more than 20 years

ISee.mn published a report from Dambadarjaa monastery, built in the 1760s and one of the oldest historic buildings in the capital. According to the report, restoration has been discussed since the 2010s and a proposal was sent to the city in 2015, but no work followed, and most of the two structures on the east and west sides of the wooden enclosure have collapsed and been abandoned.
