1. Apartment pre-sale contract registration to start on November 15

A post by lawyer Batkhuu was the most viewed of the morning. It will include the developer, land cadastre, building permit, design documents, and floor and unit layouts. Batkhuu said IT companies could use the data to build easy apps, much like choosing a seat at a cinema.

UBN reported that the government adopted a resolution on preventing housing fraud on October 14. Under it, aimag and capital city governors must send the registry each building's address, floor plans and a unique QR-coded number for every unit within three working days of issuing a construction permit. Minister of Justice and Home Affairs G. Temuulen said citizens will be able to check from one database whether a project is permitted and whether a unit has already been sold to someone else.
